Blaster/Sprayer/Painter Rope Access LV2

Blaster/Sprayer Tasks: Executing surface preparation procedures using blasting tools to remove old paint, rust, or unwanted materials. Using sprayers to apply high-quality and uniform coating on metal structures.
Safety Management: Ensuring all coating-related activities adhere to the highest safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with safety procedures.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Ensuring that coating tools, equipment, and safety systems undergo regular checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety during operations.
Material Knowledge: Utilizing in-depth expertise regarding various paints, coating liquids, and materials used in the coating process to accurately select and apply them effectively.
Working Under Pressure: Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines to efficiently complete tasks, especially in offshore environments where timely completion is crucial to avoid disruptions to production.
Reporting and Documentation: Detailing work processes, technical issues, and improvement points in coating procedures, providing valuable information for reports and process enhancements.

Experience: With minimum of two (2) years offshore experience two (2) years rope access with Surface Preparation and Coating Applications, TBT, PTW, Qualified and Certified to ASTM D 4228-05 (2017) as a minimum

Offshore experience shall be mandatory to a value if 75% of the full deck painter allocated personnel, new personnel to offshore shall not perform any works without an allocated coating mentor
Have Rope Access IRATA Level 2 Certificate
