Job Description :

1. Strategic Advisory Role:

  • Offer strategic insights and guidance on the implementation of electrical automation solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate comprehensive strategies for enhancing electrical automation efficiency.

2. Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of equipment on FPSO/FSO vessels, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Implement proactive measures to address operational challenges and enhance equipment reliability.

3. Leadership in System Design:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of designing, installing, and testing advanced automated electrical systems for oil and gas projects or power plants.
  • Drive innovation in system design, integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance overall efficiency.

4. Training and Development:

  • Conduct specialized training sessions for team members, covering the latest advancements and best practices in electrical automation.
  • Utilize Assessor certification to evaluate individual and team capabilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted training programs.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations governing electrical and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay informed about changes in standards and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

6. Continuous Improvement:

  • Spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement in electrical automation processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing relevant enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new knowledge into existing processes.

7. Project Management:

  • Play a key role in project management, ensuring timelines and milestones related to electrical automation are met.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, allocate resources, and manage project risks effectively.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster effective collaboration and communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and project stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to electrical and automation integration.

9. Quality Assurance:

  • Implement robust quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure the highest standards of electrical automation are maintained.

10. Crisis Management: – Develop and implement contingency plans for potential crises or failures in electrical automation systems, ensuring quick response and resolution to minimize downtime.

Job Requirements :

  • Graduated in Electrical Automation Engineering, preferably with a Master’s degree.
  • Fluent in English (TOEIC 605, IELTS 6.0).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Primavera P6…
  • 10 years in the oil and gas industry, mastering operations and maintenance on FPSO/FSO vessels. 3 high-flying years in designing and testing automation systems.
  • Preference for professional training certificates, especially Assessor certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of standards/regulations for electrical and automation systems in oil and gas or power plant projects.
