Job Description :

Contract Drafting & Management

Support the Legal Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, commercial agreements, and other legal documents with contractors and partners to ensure clarity, enforceability, and efficiency.

Assist in monitoring and managing the company’s contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, timely delivery of deliverables, and adherence to deadlines.

Support the Legal Counsel in conducting contractor performance evaluations.

Legal Advisory & Regulatory Updates

Provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice under the guidance of the Legal Counsel to management on operational and strategic matters.

Monitor and evaluate regulatory developments affecting the oil & gas industry, and support the Legal Counsel in assessing their implications for the business. Compliance • Assist in overseeing or participating in procurement procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Assist the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, or risk management frameworks.

Contribute to ensuring the company’s overall compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Legal Proceedings Support

Assist the Legal Counsel with legal proceedings and regulatory matters, including coordination with other relevant authorities.

Other

Perform training or additional tasks as assigned by the Legal Counsel.

Support personal data protection and related matters.

Job Requirements :

Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree in law or relevant field;

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;

Basic understanding of procurement regulations and procedures;

Basic knowledge of international arbitration, particularly under the Singapore International

Arbitration Centre (SIAC) framework:

Strong expertise in contract drafting, documentation, and legal compliance requirements. Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ legal experience, with exposure to both in-house and law firm environments

preferred.

Experience in a law firm or in-house role advising on oil & gas legal matters is strongly preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and compliance regulations.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver sound legal advice under pressure.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
