Primary Objective: As a Senior QA/QC Coating Inspector, your main responsibility is to ensure the quality and adherence to coating, painting, fireproofing (PFP), and insulation standards on offshore drilling rigs. Specific tasks include:

1. Inspection and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough inspections of coating, painting, PFP, and insulation applications to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality assurance checks at various stages of coating and insulation processes to guarantee integrity and durability in offshore environments.

2. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all coating, PFP, and insulation activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications (such as NACE, ICorr, FROSIO, SSPC).
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.

3. Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any non-conformities, provide technical guidance, and recommend corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders regarding inspection findings and recommendations.

4. Training and Compliance Management:

• Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors or project personnel to enhance understanding and adherence to coating, PFP, and insulation standards.
• Monitor and ensure continuous compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
