Mandatory Experience Requirements:
5 to 9 years of experience (strictly within this range; no exceptions).
Proven experience in the oil & gas industry.
Strong hands-on experience in commercial contractual matters.
Profiles primarily focused on M&A or Project Finance are not eligible.
Experience in multinational corporations or large-scale organizations is an advantage.
Provide legal support on all judicial and non-judicial matters affecting the Company.
Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements, particularly within the oil & gas sector, with a strong focus on contractual matters (excluding M&A and project finance).
Support contractual activities related to supply chains, including long-term supply/offtake agreements, MoUs, and project development agreements.
Ensure compliance with applicable national and international laws and industry regulations.
Identify legal risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Tax, Procurement, and HSE.
Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
Manage and coordinate external legal counsel.
Support activities related to agribusiness and carbon-offset initiatives (considered an advantage, not mandatory).
Maintain legal documentation, records, and contract lifecycle management.
Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
Postgraduate qualification (LL.M or equivalent) is an advantage.
Ability to work across civil law and common law systems.
Admission to the Bar in Vietnam is a plus (not mandatory).
