1. KEY OBJECTIVES
1.1 The Maintenance GPO is responsible for carrying out maintenance of the FSO’s plant, associated equipment and vessel utilities with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the Facility Management System.
1.2 To maintain watches in Engine Room or Deck during offtakes.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
2.1 Carry out maintenance and repair work, shutdowns isolations and planned maintenance.
2.2 Be familiar with the FSO’s plant and machinery their safe operation and maintenance and will ensure that he has knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions.
2.3 Ensure that all information entered in logs, reports, maintenance records and PMS is accurate and conforms to the Facility Management System.
2.4 Carry out bunkering operations and ensure that all preventative measures are taken when bunkering in port or offshore.
2.5 Perform isolations as per permit to work and safe entry permits.
2.6 Carry out helicopter luggage handling and all tasks related Helicopter Deck Assistant
2.7 Supervise and support contractors activities onboard and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with Facility Management System.
3. KEY AUTHORITIES None
4. HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Ensure that the environment is protected during bunkering operations.
4.2 Be aware of and uphold company policy regarding “Health, Safety and Environment” and “Environmental Protection Policy”
5. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
5.1 Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor for stores and spare gear and monitor consumption.
Experience
– Experience as Engine Room Watchkeeper/Maintenance GPO /Technician on FSO or similar facilities or experience as Engine Room Watchkeeper with a knowledge of tanker systems and operations
– Experience in the operation and maintenance of Engine Room equipment preferred.
– Experience with Safety Management Systems and computerised Planned Maintenance Systems preferred.
Qualification
– Good personal and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and culturally aware with experience of working with multicultural workforce preferred
