Drilling Logistics Supervisor

Job Description :

Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all supply base operations, contractors, and service providers.

Implement company safety standards and Golden Rules throughout all drilling logistics activities.

Conduct and coordinate HSE inspections of warehouses, offices, yards, vessels, and other operational areas; follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of identified hazards.

Coordinate vessel operations to maximize utilization and control operational costs, including fuel consumption and on-hire/off-hire surveys.

Monitor and support helicopter operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transportation services for offshore drilling activities.

Arrange import and export clearance for drilling-related materials, equipment, and geological samples, and coordinate inward and outward clearance formalities for vessels, rigs, barges, and other marine assets.

Establish and maintain effective performance monitoring systems for drilling logistics activities to optimize costs and prevent operational losses.

Receive, store, maintain, issue, and deliver materials and equipment while ensuring inventory accuracy and asset control in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain effective working relationships with contractors, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders to support operational efficiency and business continuity.

Coordinate closely with supply base personnel to ensure logistics services are delivered safely and efficiently.

Foster collaboration with other operators and identify opportunities for shared services and cost optimization.

Ensure effective communication between onshore offices, offshore installations, and contractors to enhance service quality and reduce avoidable costs.

Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the drilling logistics team to achieve operational objectives and continuous improvement.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of key contractors and service providers

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related disciplines.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry and offshore drilling operations.

Experience in supply base operations, marine logistics, materials handling, and inventory management.

Practical knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export documentation, and coordination with local authorities.

Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and asset management practices.

Familiarity with vessel and helicopter logistics supporting offshore activities.

Training or certification in Logistics Management, Materials Control Systems, and Rigging & Slinging is required.

Knowledge of basic oil and gas operations and drilling activities is considered an advantage.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and adapt effectively to changing operational demands.

Demonstrate initiative, accountability, teamwork, cultural awareness, and openness to new ideas.
