Senior Change Order Management & Interfaces Engineer

Job Description :

Lead change order management and interface coordination across the project, ensuring alignment between engineering, fabrication, transportation, and offshore installation activities.
Act as the central coordination point between technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
Review, assess, and manage project changes, including impacts on cost, schedule, execution, and contractual obligations.
Provide recommendations to management on mitigation strategies for project changes and risks.
Oversee and coordinate interfaces among project teams, EPC/EPCI contractors, fabrication yards, logistics providers, and offshore installation teams.
Facilitate interface and change management meetings; document outcomes and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Monitor project progress to identify changes, interface issues, and potential risks, ensuring timely resolution.
Evaluate constructability, feasibility, and sequencing across engineering, fabrication, transportation, and offshore installation phases.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in key project reviews covering technical, commercial, and change management aspects.
Manage change orders and variation claims, including evaluation, negotiation, and
documentation.
Support commercial strategy and contract discussions with practical input on variation management and contract negotiation.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and proper tracking of all changes.
Support contract administration and identify contractual risks and opportunities.

Job Requirements :

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
At least 7 years in Project Management / Project Coordination roles within EPC/EPCI projects.
Proven experience in change order management and interface coordination in energy projects (preferably gas-to-power value chain).
Experience working in a multi-project environment.
Strong background in:
Change management and impact assessment
Contract administration and variation management
Interface management practices
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong understanding of:
Engineering, fabrication, and offshore installation
Transportation and logistics (marine logistics, vessel operations, heavy transportation)
Hands-on experience in Transportation & Installation (T&I) scopes is an advantage.
Practical experience in contract negotiation and commercial discussions with contractors.
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability.
Ability to manage complex technical and commercial interfaces.
