Marine Logistics Coordinator

Job Description :

Manage Jetty Operations related to the loadout and backload activities of Marine Supply Vessels supporting offshore operations.

Ensure all logistics activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures.

Verify and ensure that all equipment and materials requested for offshore transportation are properly accounted for and loaded.

Coordinate and manage bulk transfers of Marine Gas Oil (MGO), Potable Water, Brine, Cement, and other consumables.

Ensure full compliance with all company HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) policies, procedures, and standards at all times.

Act as the primary focal point between Vessel Operations, Service Companies responsible for bulk and rental equipment, and the Drilling Logistics team.

Arrange and coordinate contractor mobile plant and equipment as required, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and safe to operate.

Verify that all lifting gear is appropriately rated, inspected, and certified prior to any lifting operations.

Prepare accurate manifests and packing lists, distribute them to both onshore and offshore stakeholders, and maintain proper hard-copy and electronic records.

Job Requirements :

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Petroleum Engineering, or other related disciplines.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and material management within the Oil & Gas industry.

Sound knowledge of drilling materials and equipment used in offshore operations.

Proven experience in Jetty Operations, including managing major loadouts, backloads, and bulk transfer activities.

Good understanding of local contractor operations and experience working with multiple service providers.

Proficient in manifest preparation, record management, and data maintenance using Maximo and Microsoft Excel.

Possess experience and/or relevant qualifications in Rigging and Lifting operations.

Familiar with conducting Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), issuing Permits to Work (PTW), and facilitating Toolbox Talks.

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to offshore operational requirements when necessary.
